Sumathi Valavu (2025):

This Malayalam horror-comedy movie was released in theaters on August 1, 2025. It received an excellent response from all kinds of audiences. However, some critics commented negatively that it doesn't create horror, even though it falls into the horror thriller genre. Overall, this movie received an excellent response from the film audience. The film started shooting in Palakkad in November 2024. Some interesting scenes were also shot in Munnar, Kumili, Theeni, Vattavada, etc. The movie was completed in early March 2025. In a 1990s Kerala village, a haunted curve known as Sumathi Valavu was haunted by many people nearby. The place is known for a murder mystery of a woman who happened in 1950. Her name was Sumathi. She stayed there at night and guarded that place. She did not accept anybody staying nearby and killed them with anger. However, the local goons created this narration to keep the common public away from that place for their own benefit. The film is filled with horror and comedy tracks. A real haunted site inspires this movie in Mylamoodu, Thiruvananthapuram. The Director filmed the movie in the actual region. Director Vishnu Sasi Shankar and writer Abhilash Pillai united after the massive success of the film Malikappuram (2022). The producers have confirmed a prequel titled Sumathi Valavu 2. The movie collected 15 Crores in the first week worldwide. And reached 25 Crore Rupees at the end.

Avaran – Movie (2025):

The movie was released in August 2025. This movie comes under the "dark, violent action drama" genre.  It is also said to be an Action‑comedy. The film looks pretty dark and features an alcoholic, raw-looking, angry hero. Also seems like a psychological thriller after watching the trailer. The movie shows bold, visually rich projects. Haal Malayalam Romantic Movie (2025):

This new generation romantic musical drama Tamil movie "Haal" will be released on an OTT platform shortly. The movie's theatrical release is on September 12, 2025. The leading roles are played by Shane Nigam (Little Hearts Fame) and the female lead, Sakshi Vaidya (a beautiful actress). The movie Haal is directed by the debutant Veera. The movie is entirely dependent on the musical tracks. Some of the films become massive hits at the box office based on the music tracks of the movie.
